(CLICK HERE FOR CURRENT TARIFFS) The Barn is a high quality conversion of a redundant farm building which dates to the latter part of the 18th century. The owners have retained the unique local features which are evident both externally and internally. Exposed beams, revealed stonework, stone flooring etc. all contribute to the 'country cottage' feel while still encompassing all of the modern amenities and comforts needed to enhance the enjoyment of your stay. The bedroom is situated on a 'mezzanine' floor accessed from the living room and houses a large, comfortable double bed. Additionally, if needed, there is a sofa bed in the lounge that can accommodate an extra guest. (There is a supplementry charge for additional guests - see tariffs page for details.) If you would like to take a visual tour of the Barn then please click on any of the images above. Thank you. Please note : We have two cats at Scythe and Sickle who do not take kindly to the presence of other animals in their near vicinity and so, regretfully, we are unable to allow your dogs or other pets at the Barn.
